Andy founded Autorama in 2004 with a clear vision - leasing made easy and accessible with smaller deposits, affordable monthly payments and no lump sums. Convenience, value and choice have remained at the heart of the business ever since. 
 
Initially a used-car retail venture, Andy, with just three employees in one porta cabin, built the business from the ground up before branching out into the van leasing market in 2007 – when Autorama’s most well-known brand, Vanarama, was born. 
 
Andy’s passion for providing outstanding customer service has underpinned every aspect of Autorama since day one. As he has expanded the business,and invested heavily in both the brand and the infrastructure behind it, the customer has remained key. This can been seen in both the award-winning ad-campaigns, putting Britain’s hardworking business drivers first, and also with nationwide sponsorship of grass-roots and national league football. Under Andy’s leadership, Autorama has supported Britain’s drivers both at work, and at leisure and there’s no plan to slow down anytime soon.

David Bernstein joined Vanarama as Chairman in 2015. 
 
With a background in chartered accountancy, he is perhaps best-known as a former Chairman of The Football Association and Manchester City Football Club.
 
With numerous non-executive chairmanships across a range of major international brands, David brings a wealth of top-level experience to his role, including oversight of the vast project to rebuild Wembley Stadium.
 
His impressive business and sports administration acumen has helped drive further investment in the Autorama platform and the business’s continued rapid expansion. 
 
Alongside his role at Autorama, David has maintained his chairmanship of the International Red Cross where, along with his Board, he continues to oversee and take responsibility for the challenges and triumphs of this globally recognised charity.

Jo Elms is a well-known and highly-respected figure in the UK automotive sector having held senior roles at Ford, Nissan and Leaseplan.
 
Jo joined Autorama in 2018 with responsibility to implement business and commercial strategies that align with the company values. This includes oversight of our customer service, admin and product development teams.
 
During her time with the brand, Jo has worked tirelessly to embed the ‘if it’s right for the customer, it’s right for us’ philosophy in the organisation’s DNA. This laser focus on the customer has been a huge factor in Autorama's success, helping the Vanarama brand become a member of the Institute of Customer Service and achieve its Service Mark with distinction in 2017. It also helped Vanarama win five gold awards at the UK CX Awards 2020 for their online customer experience.
 
Jo is passionate about bringing the very best customer service experience to the 21st century digital marketplace and to helping Autorama excel by always putting the customer first.

Dan Taylor joined the Autorama team in 2017 following an impressive raft of roles in the automotive sector spanning more than two decades. This included a role at advisory and accountancy company Grant Thornton, where he headed the automotive team through a five-year period of sustained growth. In 2013, Dan joined 350-site dealer group Ridgeway as Finance Director, where he worked closely with the CEO to improve business performance, increase profitability and boost shareholder value, contributing massively to the successful sale of the business in 2016.

Since joining Autorama, Dan has driven consistently improved business performance and profitability and was instrumental in helping the business successfully navigate the economic challenges of Covid-19.

He is now at the forefront of driving five-fold growth in the business in the next four years with plans to grow turnover to £2.75bn by 2025.

With over 20 years’ experience in the industry and an extensive developer background, Jamie has led numerous tech teams as a principal architect and designer, developing next generation automotive applications. In his last several roles, he served as CTO, responsible for technology and R&D, as well as helping startups get from initial concept to MVP and beyond. 

Since joining Autorama in 2017, Jamie has lead the company’s digital transformation, owning the overall strategic vision and roadmap of Autorama’s technology stack as well as leading all of our digital service teams.

Before joining the Autorama team as Sales Director in 2005, Gary Lemon spent more than 15 years with some of the UK’s largest dealer groups building a successful reputation across numerous senior sales positions.
 
His impact on Autorama’s success cannot be underestimated, having overseen enormous stock volume growth whilst simultaneously growing his dedicated sales team by more than 400%.

Much of Gary’s success can be attributed to his development of a sales processes that deliver real value for customers. This works by finding the right vehicle and the right finance method through asking structured questions. 

He continues to work closely with our key vehicle manufacturer and dealer group contacts to maximise strategic sales opportunities and ensure stock availability to fulfil growing demand.
